Non Violent Response (NVR) or Tools for Teenage Years

Location: Online (zoom)

NVR or Tools for Teenage Years is a 6-part workshop that teaches parents how to take back and retain control of their home from teenage children. It is an approach, philosophy and therapeutic method that aims to address violent or self-destructive behaviours children may be exhibiting.   It is rooted in the civil rights movement and has been developed to foster positive relationships and prevent escalation of violence. NVR emphasises the importance of raising parental presence and using non-violent methods to resolve conflicts.   The approach is based on the principle of planned delayed reactions, which is key forbuilding the parent-child relationship and establishing a strong sense of parental presence.

Rank, Power & Privilege

Location: Online (zoom)

Society strives to keep us divided and confused about each other, so we don’t usually get to experience and work in harmony with one another. This workshop helps us to notice and better understand where we are in relation to people around us. It begins the process of us thinking about how we can function differently towards making our relationship environment more inclusive and welcoming to other people.

We welcome you to share from your life experiences and also receive from others too. The benefits are increased awareness, more thoughtfulness, compassion and a sense of collaborative inclusion. People will immediately notice the richness that you bring into the room.
