The Women’s Empowerment Workshop UK explores the contrasting levels of power associated with being a woman in today’s social landscape. Specifically, we examine how these power dynamics influence our daily lives and professional growth. Furthermore, as a member of the NCBI International coalition, we bring world-class expertise to help local women embrace their true potential.

Embracing the power of being a woman
What does it mean to embrace your power? In addition to our core goals, the aim of this session is to celebrate being women and challenge the common stereotypes associated with being female. Specifically, we provide a supportive space to deconstruct these messages. As a result, participants leave feeling more confident and capable of effecting change. Our approach is informed by the empowerment frameworks supported by the Women’s Resource Centre.
This Women’s Empowerment Workshop UK explores the messages women receive about being female and how that impacts their multiple roles in society. Notably, we consider how to develop relationships across different cultures and generations. We explore living and working in a world that places a high value on image.
Consequently, we focus on empowerment with special regard towards young women and school-age girls. Moreover, we facilitate vital conversations surrounding the achievements of middle-aged and senior women. This approach aligns with the gender equity standards promoted by the Fawcett Society.
